Twenty Studies for Timpani by Jacques Delécluse (born 1933) is a set of twenty studies written for 2-5 Timpani and inspired by symphonic repertoire. Written for intermediate-level they require some technical knowledge. Twenty Studies for Timpani features some meter and multiple pitch changes and the studies are written with increasing difficulty.
